Intro to DECA! is a new club at Olentangy Orange High School for the 2025-26 school year. Although it is open to all Orange students, those who have a passion for business will most benefit as DECA’s mission is to “prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.”

For the 2025-26 school year, the club is open to ALL Orange students, however, in future years, it will likely be geared towards just freshman and sophomores, as juniors and seniors are encouraged to take the Junior/Senior level Marketing+DECA program with Mrs Teresa Gellenbeck.

The kickoff meeting was held on Tuesday, Sep 9 during flex in Mrs Gellenbeck’s room 2006 and we had an AMAZING turnout! We are very excited about the interest in this new club and our DECA program! Due to attendance, we are holding our next meeting in the library!

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, Sep 30 in the OOHS library during flex. We will have information on how to officially join, membership dues ($5) and upcoming socials and events.
