With November starting, our fundraiser for American Heart Association has quickly come to a close. The American Heart Association works on cardiac care related issues in hopes of reducing deaths from heart related issues including strokes and cardiovascular diseases. This year, students worked exceptionally hard to sell an abundance of shirts and other items including stuffed animals.
The students had a competition with Olentangy Liberty High School to see who could sell the most shirts. Although we didn’t win this year, the competition aspect encouraged students at both schools to raise money for a good cause. We raised a total of about 770 dollars this year! This money directly went towards helping with research for heart related issues. This was huge and all we are so thankful for all the t-shirts we sold and money we raised. The students showed initiative and had a red out at the football game following the wrap up of the fundraiser. Many students wore their American Heart Association t-shirts on top of many warm layers. We are extremely happy with how the fundraiser went this year and we hope to raise more money again next year!
